FAQ's

Here you can find answers to common questions!

  • What ages are your facilities for? - We cater for children ages 0-8 years. We are open 6 days a week from Tuesday's to Sunday's and have 4 sessions each day;-

  • 9:15am-10:45am

  • 11:15am-12;45am

  • 13:15pm-14:45pm

  • 15:15pm-16:45pm

  • We have  a Mother and baby session on Wednesday mornings at 9:15am - 10:15am. More information on our sessions is here.

  • I have more than one child, do i have to book twice? -  Yes, if you have more than one child, you will have to fill in a booking form for each child. This way, we have all of the relevant information (allergies/medical etc).

  • Do you offer childminder & sibling discount? -  Yes, we offer a discount at 20% off with a minimum of 4 children (excluding our mother and baby session). We do not offer a sibling discount however, baby's 3 months and under are free with a paying child.

  • I have 2 children however one is a baby and cannot take part in the session my older child is attending, what do i do? -  If your older child is attending a session that your baby cannot join in for example, "big chef, little chef", or certain special events then parents are welcome to bring along their babies free of charge. If you are planning on bringing your baby to your older child's session, please contact us to let us know prior, thank you!

  • One of my children is older than 8 years, what do i do? - If you are looking to book a session for one of your children and have to bring along your child who is older than 8, you are welcome to do so free of charge however, all of our rooms and facilities (including our soft play frame) are only for children up to the age of 8 and therefore your over 8 year old will not be able to take part in any activities. 

  • My child has additional educational needs/SEN, can i still attend sessions? - Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend all sessions (as long as they fit with the age category for each specific session).  We also have an SEN play session on the last Thursday of every month! Click here to book.

  • How do i know my booking is confirmed? - You will receive a booking confirmation email. This email may end up in your junk folder so please check this before inquiring about anything further, thank you.

  • Can i just turn up to a session without booking? - Here at Inside Out we try to make your experience with us as personal as possible in order to make you and your child/children feel comfortable. This is why we do ask parents/carers to pre-book sessions. However, we do accept walk-ins on the occasion that we are not fully booked up. We cannot guarantee we will have free spaces on our sessions and therefore booking online is recommended to avoid disappointment.

  • I am having trouble locating you - All of our contact and address details are on our contact page here. If you are still struggling to locate us prior to arrival, please call us. You can find our number along with our other details on our contact page which is linked above^.

  • How long are your sessions? - All of our sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes (excluding our mother and baby session- 1 hour)

  • I would like to attend the "daddy daycare" session however i am the child's mum, can i still attend?- Yes, mum's are welcome to come along to our "daddy daycare" sessions as much as dads are welcome at our other sessions! Here at Inside Out, we wanted to create an environment where dads get an opportunity to talk to each other and discuss the challenges that parenting may bring. 

  • How much does a session cost? - Our play sessions are £9.50 per child. Prices for our other sessions and special events take a look at our booking page here. 

  • What happens if i cannot make my session and need to cancel? - We at Inside Out understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel your session. We ask that you contact us to let us know if you are not able to make your session so we can open up the space for another little one! Any session admissions that are due to be paid on arrival will no longer need to be paid upon cancellation. Any session admissions or special events that are pre-paid online or over the phone will not be refunded upon cancellation and any refunds that may be issued will be upon managers discretion only. 

  • Can more than one adult attend the session within the admission price, or is there an extra charge? - There is no extra charge for extra adults attending our sessions. Mum, dad, grandparents, aunties, uncles, family friends are welcome to attend with you and your child/children for no additional cost (maximum of 3 adults per child)

  • Is there a limit to how close to a session i can make a booking? - No, however we do ask that you give as much notice as possible so we can personalise your child's experience to the best of our ability! However, we do understand that last minute bookings are sometimes the case, especially with children :). 

  • When should i arrive to my session? - Arriving early: please note- if you arrive more than 10 minutes early to your session we will not be ready to start your session. We understand that timings and other factors may contribute to arriving early however, in order for us to be ready for your session, we have to tidy and sanitise all rooms and toys, and may have to arrange resources around from the previous session. 

  • Do you have a space to keep my child's pram? - Yes, we do have an area for prams however with our building being on the smaller side, this space is quite small. We do ask parents who drive to leave their prams in the car to leave space for the prams of parents who use public transport or walk, to get to us! More information about visiting us is here.

  • Is there a place to eat and drink within your facilities? - Yes, our "Snack Shack" offers cold food and drinks, and includes both a breakfast and lunch menu. All of our food and drinks are healthy and affordable as we understand the effect of the current cost of living crisis. More information about our "Snack Shack" is here. 

  • Can i bring my own food and drink into your facilities and eat this while i am there? - Unfortunately parents/carers are unable to eat their own food brought from home in our "Snack Shack" area. Children's water bottles however are okay to bring and if you have any baby food that you would like us to warm up then this is perfectly fine!

  • How do i book a birthday party? - If you would like to book a party, you can inquire on our website here and fill our a party form. Once this form is filled out, we will get back to you as soon as possible with more information regarding our different party packages.

  • Is there parking available? - Yes, there are many free available spaces to park along the main road

  • Do you take card payments or is it cash only? - We accept both cash and card payments. Payment is on arrival however we are hoping to accept payments on our online booking page soon!

  • Can i leave my child at Inside Out and come back when the session is over? - No, all children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/carer at all times. However, we are looking to offer creche sessions in the future!
